What is the Archéo-Québec Network’s annual forum?

Each year, the Archéo-Québec Network organizes a forum that brings together people with a commitment to Québec’s archaeological heritage and gives them an opportunity to focus on an issue related to the ever-evolving field of archaeology.

This enriching, stimulating event offers workshops, lectures, training and tours of archaeological sites and places, with players from various backgrounds sharing their experiences and viewpoints.

The forum focuses on a new theme every year – citizen archaeology, archaeological tourism experiences, archaeology and mediation, etc. – encouraging reflection on questions ranging from how citizens can be involved in protecting their heritage to the use of new technologies in archaeology.

The forum is also an occasion to network and chat with colleagues during cocktail hours and group suppers.

Would you like to help organize a forum? Do you have a proposal for a topic you find important? Your ideas, comments and suggestions are always welcome! Contact us today!

Please note: the program for the Archéo-Québec Network’s annual forum is available in French only.
