Presentation: Fort Ticonderoga Museum commemorates French, British and American occupations during the Seven Years’ War and the American Revolution. Guided tours are offered on a daily basis. Enriched programs in July and August include family activities, as well as fife and drum performances. The King’s Garden is included in the general admission fee.

Description: Fort Ticonderoga will host the annual fife and drum corps muster on Saturday, August 1, 2009. Corps from the Northeast of the U.S.A. will perform military music from the 18th and 19th centuries. This event is included in the general admission fee.

Activity 2: “The Face of War: Triumph and Tragedy at Ticonderoga, 1758—1759” (temporary exhibition)

Description: This award-winning exhibition recounts the story of the Seven Year’s War at Fort Ticonderoga from the viewpoint of those caught up in it, whether Amerindian, French, Canadien, British or colonial. The exhibition is presented in both French and English, and a companion guide for family activities is available in English.
