Presentation: A whole range of activities gives visitors all kinds of way to learn about New France. There is a guided tour through four dramatized scenes that bring 17th-century Quebec to life, encounters with colourful characters, archaeological digs and a chance to sample the fare of New France, as well as modern-day food. The site is a true open-air museum!

Dates: Tuesday to Sunday, August 1 to 16, 19 to 23 and 28 to 30, 9:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Activity length: 1 hour 30 minutes
Admission fee: Adults: $15 Seniors: $14 Children (6 to 13): $7 Children (5 and under): free
Families of 2 adults and 2 children: $40

Description: Learn more about the work of archaeologists and share the discoveries they have made at the Anse-à-la-Croix site. The visitor reception area houses an exhibit of the most interesting artifacts unearthed on the site.
