Presentation: Designated an archaeological property in 1983, the old Pointe-aux-Trembles mill is one of the rare buildings to be so distinguished in the east end of the Island of Montreal. Recently restored, the mill will open its doors in 2009 and the public will be able to visit it. The Vieux-Moulin is managed by the Borough of Rivière-des-Prairies—Pointe-aux-Trembles.

Dates: Saturdays and Sundays throughout the summer, 12 noon to 5 p.m.

Description: Come with the family to the opening of the Vieux-Moulin site at Pointe-aux-Trembles! A 3-D show, interactive games, video projections and animated activities will make it a day to remember. Visit the inside of the mill and meet miller Louis Fontaine dit Bienvenu, with his colourful language. Relive the early days of the village and its fortifications.
