Presentation: An island in the midst of the St. Lawrence, accessible only by boat, offers visitors a chance to discover the river, its islands and its history in the tranquillity of a unique natural setting. Explore our walking paths and relax in our picnic area, or enjoy a light meal served by the Filles du Roi. The site can be reached by a shuttle that operates continuously from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Activity 1: Intergenerational Sundays
Dates: Sundays throughout August, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Activity length: Continuous

Description: Discover the Vandandaigue family’s collection of artifacts unearthed during archaeological excavations on the site of the mill and first manor house on the Îles Bouchard seigneury.

Activity 2: Archaeological Sundays
Dates: Sundays, August 2 and 30, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Activity length: 45 minutes – 6 sessions
Admission fee: (for boat ride) Adults: $16 Children: $8
Description: Archaeologists from Patrimoine Experts will present the discoveries they have made in archaeological excavations on the site of the mill and first manor house on the Îles Bouchard seigneury. Visitors will be able to view archaeological remains and objects in the Vandandaigue family’s collection.
