An activity presented by the Société du patrimoine urbain de Québec. This activity is made possible by the “Entente de développement culturel” between le ministère de la Culture, des Communications et de la Condition féminine and the City of Quebec.
Presentation: The urban experience is at the heart of our activities. New technologies enable the public to explore the city in an original, surprising way. La Société du patrimoine urbain de Québec offers modern-day rallies with GPS and caches, combining history and in situ discovery of archaeological sites.
Activity: Archéo GéoRally
Dates: a) Every Sunday throughout August, departure at 2 p.m.
Archéo GéoRally led by a guide:

Activity length: 2 hours 30 minutes
Admission fee: Archéo GéoRally with a guide: Individual: $5 or
Family (2 adults and 2 children): $7

Description: An activity for the general public and an introduction to archaeological sites in Quebec City. Following the principles of Geocaching, participants use a GPS to search for 10 thematic caches, both real and virtual, and fulfil their archaeological mission. Contest and prizes, including SPUQ geocoins.
